Use back button to return. Driftwood from the ocean. Most of my wood is from inland rivers but this excellent piece is from near Cooktown in the far North East of Australia. The hollow has two LED bulbs in red and blue shinning through droplets of glass. The glass gives a faceted look to the lights as they mix the colours from blue and red to magenta and give the driftwood a very colourful beach look. Height 40cm Length 45cm Depth 60cm Weight 5.5kg

The water has shaped and smoothed the trunk to a fine finish and defined the peaks and grooves on the lower portions. Two of the tiers are from bloodwoods and one is red stringy bark. Use back button to return.Tall and expressive this is a great conversation piece with its alien appearance. Its looks are enhanced with a red LED at the top, giving it a haunting look. And one at the bottom to better show the pitted and eaten texture of the wood. When I found the bottom piece it had a large bird spider living in the hollow. Use back button to return.A large half globe burl with a crystal ball diffuser. The ball gives a superb light show, changing from every angle. The light source is of two colours, red and blue. They split the ball evenly into two colours and merge into a magenta where they meet and the globe magnifies colours and the wood behind. It gives a great mix of colours and wood from every angle. Use back button to return.An exposed tree root that has grown around a rock. This was growing in a creek and still had the bark attached. The rock can be removed now but was totally contained and over grown by the bark when I bought it home. Has lots of rounds and bumps with exposed grain in circular patterns. The timber is Lemon Scented Gum.

Use back button to return.An unusual and rare piece with a trunk of a grass tree and a hollowed and hard burl as a light shade . The trunks from the grass tree are rare and the shade is fine and thin with good contours and fluting as well as being very hard. It has an advanced LED bulb that is extremely bright, shines both ways and draws less than 1 watt. Height 45cm Width 25cm Weight 3kg

Use back button to return.One large rock and two smaller ones caught up in the entanglement of roots. Would have to be the largest rock in the smallest cluster of rocks that I have encountered. The white rock contrasts well against the dark wood. Height 50cm Width 80cm
